Mediator Zandvoort
Mark de Krosse, a human yet no-nonsense approach.
As a mediator in Zandvoort, I provide expert guidance to help you reach clear and achievable agreements together. Divorce is often a challenging period that requires making many important decisions. Whether it concerns the division of childcare, financial arrangements, or creating a parenting plan, I help you come to sustainable agreements through mutual discussion.
With mediation, you have the opportunity to shape the divorce process yourselves, without legal battles, allowing for mutual respect of each other’s wishes. This way, we ensure a respectful and fair conclusion to the relationship, aiming for a stable future for everyone.
What does mediation involve?
A mediator works as an independent facilitator between both partners to reach agreements that honor the interests of everyone involved, including any children. Instead of opting for a legal divorce process, mediation provides the chance to stay in dialogue and find solutions together in a calm manner.
Mediator Zandvoort provides support throughout the entire divorce process, often making it smoother and faster. Avoiding legal procedures allows you to retain control over the agreements made, saving both time and costs.
Allow me to introduce myself:
Mark de Krosse is the name… nice to meet you! In 2019, I decided to undertake formal training as a mediator so that I could work as a registered mediator with the MfN. The training, combined with over 25 years of experience as a mediator and entrepreneur/CEO in a larger family business, provided me with the foundation to move forward as a mediator.
In addition to the general mediation training, I have also completed specialized courses in divorce mediation, family mediation, and labor mediation. This combination of experience and education enables me to tackle various and complex mediations.
Throughout my career, I have dealt with a range of small and very large conflicts. Most conflicts were within the business family context. Sometimes I was a party to the conflict, but most of the time, I was “called to the table” to help find a solution. It always feels great when that works out, and it sparked my interest to do more. Ultimately, the step to work as a registered mediator with the MfN was not a big one.
The importance of a good parenting plan
An essential part of divorce, especially when children are involved, is creating a parenting plan. This document clearly outlines agreements on areas such as childcare division, school, holidays, and any special expenses. We thoroughly discuss these aspects together so the parenting plan meets your family’s wishes and needs, particularly those of the children.
A well-prepared parenting plan prevents misunderstandings and helps to provide children with peace and stability after the divorce. At Mediator Zandvoort, you’ll receive support in creating a plan that is practical and places the child’s best interests at the center.

How does it work?
Financial arrangements and division of assets
Another critical aspect of a divorce is establishing clear financial agreements. What happens to the shared home? How will shared assets be divided? What are the options for child or spousal support? As a mediator, I guide you through these financial issues to reach fair and feasible agreements for both parties.
Together, we outline the financial situation and discuss all options. At Mediator Zandvoort, we ensure these agreements are well-documented and realistically sustainable. This way, both parties can remain financially stable after the divorce.
Emotional aspects and communication
Beyond practical agreements, a divorce also requires space for emotional processing. Mediation sessions often bring up emotions that need attention. A mediator provides a safe and neutral environment in which both partners can express their feelings and continue constructive communication.
At Mediator Zandvoort, I support not only with formalizing practical agreements but also in finding a respectful way of communicating. This reduces conflicts and contributes to a healthier, more positive resolution of the divorce.
The benefits of mediation
- Self-managed process: You control the content and pace of the agreements.
- Cost-effective: Mediation is generally cheaper and faster than a legal procedure.
- Neutral guidance: The mediator helps you find solutions acceptable to both parties.
- Sustainable agreements: Mediation often leads to solutions that are more maintainable in the long term.
- Focus on children: The mediator assists with creating a parenting plan that considers the children’s needs.
These advantages make mediation a highly suitable option for divorces where respectful cooperation and cost savings are desired. Even in complex cases or when children are involved, mediation provides a better foundation for the future.
