Allow me to introduce myself:
Mark de Krosse is the name… nice to meet you! In 2019, I decided to undertake formal training as a mediator so that I could work as a registered mediator with the MfN. The training, combined with over 25 years of experience as a mediator and entrepreneur/CEO in a larger family business, provided me with the foundation to move forward as a mediator.
In addition to the general mediation training, I have also completed specialized courses in divorce mediation, family mediation, and labor mediation. This combination of experience and education enables me to tackle various and complex mediations.
Throughout my career, I have dealt with a range of small and very large conflicts. Most conflicts were within the business family context. Sometimes I was a party to the conflict, but most of the time, I was “called to the table” to help find a solution. It always feels great when that works out, and it sparked my interest to do more. Ultimately, the step to work as a registered mediator with the MfN was not a big one.

Financial arrangements
In addition to emotional and relational matters, financial distribution plays a major role in divorce. This often involves questions regarding the division of assets, debts, alimony, and potentially pensions. Mediator Mark assists in making fair and realistic arrangements that suit your situation. Common topics include:
- The division of the family home and assets
- Agreements on child or partner alimony
- Distribution of pensions and savings
Mark ensures that financial arrangements are discussed calmly and structured. This prevents misunderstandings, allowing everyone to move forward with confidence. Clear financial agreements ensure a fair distribution and contribute to a stable foundation for the future.
The divorce settlement
Once you have reached clear agreements together, these can be documented in a divorce settlement. This settlement is a legal document recording the divorce terms, such as asset division, alimony, and agreements concerning the children. Mediator Weesp Mark assists in drafting this settlement and can advise on legal aspects.
Drafting a divorce settlement provides security and prevents future misunderstandings regarding the agreed terms. This document can then be submitted to the court to finalize the divorce. If adjustments are needed later, Mark can support you in revising the agreements.
